Amritsari Paneer Tikka

Paneer cubes are maintained in flavoured masalas and swallow-fried untill golden and crispy. Sprinkle some chaat masala on top and serve with mint, Schezwan and tomato chutney.
Ingredients
1. 200gm paneer cubes
2. 1/2 cup besan
3. 1/4 TSP ajwain
4. Salt as per taste
5. 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
6. 1 tsp Garam masala
7. 1 tsp Red chilli powder
8. 1/2 tsp haldi
9. 1/2 tsp chaat masala
10. Edible oil
11. 1 tsp Tandoori masala
12. 1 tsp lemon juice
13. Water as per requirement
Procedure
To begin with add besan in a mixing bowl. Add ajwain, red chilli powder , haldi, garam masala, lemon juice and ginger garlic paste. Then add salt to taste.
Mix everything together. Add water if needed and mix to form a smooth batter but make sure there are no lumps in that batter.
Add the paneer cubes. Now mix them gently with your hands and coat them with the marinade.
Cover the bowl with a plastic wrap and keep aside for half an hour at room temperature.
Now heat oil in a pan. Place the paneer cubes and swallow-fry them untill golden brown.
Once done , transfer to a plate lined with kitchen paper. Sprinkle some chaat masala on top and serve with chutney.
Once you try this you will lick your fingers I bet.
